Q. Sometimes, after shampooing, I still see
little white "balls" in my hair. What could this be from?
A. There are a few things that could be causing
this: it could be that when you use stylist products, such as hair spray,
you’re holding the can too close to the hair…thus not allowing the spray to
"fan out" and creating a build up in just that area; or, it could be
the type of hair spray you’re using…it may not be "water soluble"
(this is usually a problem with the least expensive hair sprays) or, it could be
you’re using the wrong shampoo (again, the least expensive sometimes don’t
"penetrate" the chemicals in the sprays and thus won’t remove them).
Talk with your stylist and see what she recommends (ask her to watch when she
shampoos your hair…does she see what you’re seeing?).
