  • All 3 courses offered both in NYC
     
  • Minimum of 10 - Maximum of 24

Course 1
Introduction To Vocational Education
This course provides the new instructor with an overview of the basic concepts of vocational instruction. It addresses such concepts as the learning process, educational course building, lesson planning, methods of presentation and methods of evaluation. Significant time is made available for the individualized needs of class participants

Course 2
Demonstration Teaching and Evaluation
This course includes a review of palling and presentation methods with special emphasis on lesson planning. Each student is expected to teach a sample lesson which is critiqued by the class instructor and other class participants.

Course 3
Instructional Devices and Techniques
The use and selection of a broad range of teaching aids and materials are explained in this course. Participants are provided with theoretical framework with which to select, design and use teaching aids and techniques. The specific impacts of various teaching aids and techniques upon the learning process are explored.
